The actual hotel is great. Alejandra and David at the front desk were both fantastic! It is located VERY CLOSE to the Biltmore estate. I have no idea what happened to the area immediately around the hotel, but all the other buildings were vacant and in horrible condition. I was surprised we never saw any homeless individuals as the vacant properties appeared to be ideal spots for people to squat. We had zero issues with our vehicle while there and the hotel itself appears newer and well maintained. Breakfast was impressive. I would stay there again.

Our room was clean and well stocked with items for the kitchenette, but the pool was not open. I didn't think to check this before I made our reservation. We took our 2 young daughters to Biltmore for the day and dinner that night. We had hoped they could enjoy a swim between the Biltmore visit and dinner but that didn't happen. The staff was friendly. There is an area behind the hotel for you to take your dogs out, too. The breakfast was great. Loved my coffee and oatmeal both mornings. It was very sad to see the surrounding properties hadn't been replaced or renovated since the floods. This area was hit pretty hard however. We will still consider this hotel again when we come back.

Great location, spotless rooms, nice complimentary breakfast buffet, helpful staff make this a great pick for Asheville. You could say this place has everything except…. working elevators! When we were there only one of the two elevators worked, and the one that did work broke down twice in three days. Staff were helpful and responsive in getting it running again, but still it’s a nuisance. Hopefully they fix it soon, because it marred an otherwise perfect stay.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel was clean, breakfast was a good value and well done. Only downside is area seems to be going through a lot of renovations and many surrounding businesses are getting demolished but the hotel was great with plenty of parking.
