"The foods is the best as well as the spacious room. Staffs are polite and helpful. The atmosphere is peaceful and can walk in a minute to the ropeway.(Of course you need to spend a day in hiking up there) Nothing to mention for unlike this hotel"

"We just spent five weeks in Japan and are still talking about the food we ate here. It is nothing short of spectacular. We paid quadruple at other ryokans and this one had the best food, best location and the best onsens. It’s an older place with older, big onsens and for us that was the charm of it. The rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable. The staff was incredibly kind. We went skiing one day and snowshoeing the next and ended up seeing a red fox each day. Really can’t recommend this...

"EVERYTHING was lovely. From the entrance, the hotel looked exactly like the pictures. Staffs were great and gave us very warm hospitality. Complimentary drinks and soft cream were provided at the lobby. The room was big enough to fit all 3 people from my group perfectly. The 3-private-onsen room and the public bath were very satisfying.
