"If you want a nice, peaceful, away from everything kind of place, then this is your stop. Up on top of the mountains, you have a fantastic view all around you. It is very quiet and you can sleep peacefully. The rooms are quite basic, no fridge, soap stuffs, but it is still a great lodge. The owners are very nice and amazing folks who will do what they can to make your stay pleasant. This was definitely a relaxing stay for me."

The tombs of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and Duchess Sophie Hohenberg are part of a small chapel in the basement level of Austria's Artstetten Castle. History buffs may recall the assassination of the Archduke and his wife Sophie in 1914 during a visit to Serejavo. The assassination, often referred to as "the shot heard round the world," precipitated the Great War, now referred to as World War I. "The staff of the reception was very kind, attentive, immediate action and ready to help with any question we had. For example at the checkin we asked for an iron and when we went to our room, the iron was there already. The staff during the breakfast was also very nice. The food was good. It is a good location. We were able to go for a nice walk + many facilities nearby. We have already plan to go back to the hotel next year. We hope in the future there will be a little fridge and a kettle in the room. We recommend the hotel to anyone going to Austria "

"Our group only had 1 night here. The stay was pretty comfortable, although it was quite difficult sharing 1 bathroom amongst 5 adults, but we managed. Space was sufficient for us and overall stay was comfortable. Only thing was that floor of the room was like stone/concrete, which didn’t seem comfortable to walk around barefooted. Thankfully we had slippers. There is no free parking onsite, but there is street side parking."
