"Disneyland is magical… until your feet stop cooperating.
The Majestic Hotel in Anaheim was fantastic. Free shuttle to Disneyland, friendly check-in, a surprise room upgrade, and a room with a door that opened right to the pool—my 11-year-old thought he had won the lottery.
The only hiccup was Expedia splitting our reservation into two separate bookings, which was confusing but not the hotel’s fault.
After 12+ hours at Disneyland and 30,000 steps, we came back exhausted. My son was happily eating chicken wings in the hallway because Disneyland meals apparently consist of churros, popcorn, and ice cream.
Then our room key stopped working. I called the front desk and, in my very tired state, begged them to unlock the room because I could not face another trip to the lobby. Security policy meant I had to go downstairs for new keys, and I was not my best self about it.
About 20 minutes later, Adam came to help. He took my ID and credit card, handled everything for me, brought the new keys, and had me sign the paperwork right there. That small act of kindness meant everything.
Adam saved my feet, my dignity, and the rest of my day. He showed real grace to a very tired Disney mom, and I’m so grateful. The Majestic was great, and Adam was the real magic."
