"Although I was expecting a feature room with the four poster bed, the allocated room wasn’t bad and big enough for my family. Unfortunately, the welcome and interaction from the manager on duty when we arrived after a wedding nearby wasn’t the greatest. We had checked prior about check in times and were told it was 24 hours, so wasn’t expecting the resistance we got when we arrived. "The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was large, cool, and the beds were very comfortable. There was a bath, but no plug! They were working on the WiFi so we were not able to connect to it in our room. The TV signal was erratic. We booked a buffet breakfast but all that was actually available were variations on a cooked breakfast, or Toast & Jam. But the cooked breakfast was good and the food we had for our evening meals was superb. The hotel is located...

"Our double room was a bit small. Okay for a couple of nights, not so good if we’d wanted to stay longer. Also, like a lot of budget hotels, the windows on the ground floor were locked shut. Not great during the heatwave."
