"staff were incredibly helpful! Our first trip to KC, MO and they were so helpful. It made our stay great and we had an incredible time!"

"Very new hotel. Location is close to the freeway but not necessarily close to restaurants or shopping if you are walking. Having said that, by car is about 18 minutes to the airport. There is plenty of parking however there is a charge of $16 dollars which honestly is very tacky. No other hotel at this level does this and seems like a cheap money grab. I was driving a dually with a trailer and they do have oversized parking off to the side. But once again, the parking charge is unnecessary."

"Liked it was next to casino"

"Great historic hotel. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Quaint bar and restaurant with nightly jazz music. Will definitely stay here again."

"The room was clean and overall clean hotel"

"My room was on the surface looked clean. However. There was trash in the bathroom floor so I knew it was not cleaned. The front desk said they would have the room cleaned. Again, on the surface it looked straightened up but the trash was still on the floor so it was again not cleaned. The hotel offered me 30,000 points . The points were not added to my account. "Another great stay! I’m always happy to come back and consistently appreciate the outstanding service and hospitality. This hotel truly feels like my home away from home whenever I’m in KC for a Current game!"

"Parking was very expensive. Also, I believed I was booking an IHG location a few blocks from the location of my convention, only to discover that this was 10 blocks away, making it necessary to use public transporation rather than being able to walk."

"We had a great stay, excellent front desk staff!"

"A lovely place within walking distance of the Kemper and Nelson-Atkins. The room was lovely and had a nice sitting room and spacious shower."

"Bedbugs. Lots of em."

"We have stayed at this property several times. Have had no issues. Hotel is in an area which I feel safe taking outdoor walks. Very quiet location even being in the flight path of Kansas City International Airport. This is one we will likely visit again."
