"We only spend one night in that hotel and we thought it was great. We ate in the restaurant and it was very good. The room was big and clean as was the bathroom. A minor problem about the bathroom was that the blind could not be wound down, as the mechanism was broken, and although the window was opaque glass, with the light on we felt a little exposed. The location was great and we were given a free passes for the bus to Thun town centre which we did use. The breakfast was varied and...

"The rooms were small but very comfortable, quiet, with a spacious bathroom. Robes and slippers were provided and also a mini fridge. The room also had a small balcony with came in handy to sit out and feel the night air. The lake view is breathtaking and the breakfast was excellent! You don't want to miss it!. Also the staff was super friendly and most could communicate in English, but my French was pregood and got me through. I cant wait to come back with famand friends to show them this place...

"Good hotel if you're just looking for a place to sleep, since you’ll probably be out exploring most of the time. It’s not a 5-star property, but it does the job for a night or two. Staff were friendly and the location is spot on — about a 10–15 minute walk to the lake and the center of Thun. Parking is available right next to the hotel and it’s affordable, but make sure to have some Swiss Franc coins on you."

"It's hard to tell you how much this place is perfect. The place was so clean, the room was perfect and the location just beautiful in front of the lake. "This is a “must stay and relax” type of place. The staff is incredible, the customer service is superb and the amenities (spa. Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, boating, biking, etc.) is fabulous. The property is lakefront with amazing views. It is centrally located to visit several cities and easy parking. Highly recommend and the four restaurants are so good. Great time and will visit again! "The Restaurant Bellevue au Lac was excellent choice & located on the beautiful lake Thun, it had great views, a wonderful restaurant and friendly & very helpful staff. Free Bus passes were included into town and beds & room cleaned daily. A+++ We are looking forward to staying here again! "

"Petra made sure we had everything we needed. Room included wine, beer, snacks, fresh fruit and lovely breakfast each morning rolled in. View is amazing. We had private sauna and whirlpool bath. Much needed after all our hiking. If you can handle the steep, windy, narrow roads leading up to the village it’s all worth it!!"

"We absolutely loved our time here! We stayed at multiple hotels over our three week trip to the alps in early September and hotel Fassbind was definitely our favorite place we stayed at! Linda and Dani are the most incredible hosts. We talk daily about how we miss “Dani’s Breakfast” where he would tell us stories while we ate delicious bread, cheese, and meats. Heidi and Klara, the two Burnese Mountain Dogs are adorable and love to hang around the guests! The view from the room was incredible....

"Central and great location - short walking distance to marina, beach, restaurants, and public pool that overlooks Lake Thun. The hotel shares an outdoor garden space with neighboring hotel, and it is a great experience to sit in the lounge chairs and enjoy the beautiful views which overlook the lake and marina below. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very eco conscious and more minimal with amenities but the location, cleanliness and comfort of hotel are worth the stay. If...
