Hotel has some nice Nebuta float style items in the lobby location has parking right next to it and other contracted ones nearby if you have a rental car. The room itself is your typical Japanese room, small, big enough for your bed and that's it. It was a bit dry but they had the heat on since it was pretty much under 8 degrees the entire few days we were in there. Staff was nice, obviously because this is not Tokyo, staff speak very little English so you should use your translator app/device if needed. While I was there, they did have a fluent English speaker there that made everything a lot easier as well. Location is close to the waterfront where you can then follow to the Tourist building then to the museum and A factory and Beach.

Really nice hotel. Staff were great and were extremely accomodating by using a translating device to communicate! The free apple juice was a great bonus as well. There are not many places to go around the hotel but the hotel itself was excellent. Would stay again!

A good location with walkable dining options. Parking is next to the building and can easily accommodate a large hiace, for example. The room was very clean. Super cool art in the lobby. I will stay here again the next time I visit Aomori.

The artwork in the lobby is beautiful. The area nearby is very walkable the food options are a little limited depending on the time of day you like to eat. If you are a late night person looking for a quiet time near a simple harbor this city, and this hotel will be perfect for you.

Good and clean environment. I had an ocean view on the top floor. Room was nice, no complaints. Just put the A/C on max before you goto sleep. Also, breakfast was nice.

Nice location within fair walking distance to Aomori station, Ferry Boat Museum, Nebuta Museum and Aomori Prefecture Tourism Observation building. There are a handful of small local eateries and bars in the surrounding neighborhood and the closer you get to the train station the choices increase. The ocean view overlooking Aomori Harbor from our room was awesome. The breakfast buffet is great with lots of choices, especially Japanese side dishes and seafoods. The room size is large by Japan standards and there was enough floor space for two full size suitcases. The bonus was the in room massage chair that so soothing after being out all day sightseeing.

We enjoyed staying here for a family of 5. We reserved a room with 4 beds and a pull out couch, and the pull out couch was already made with blankets, sheets etc. when we checked in. It was a walkable distance from the Aomori station, even during heavy snowy day. We also chose breakfast included (buffet style), and there are so many varieties of delicious foods. Their Apple sorbet and vanilla ice cream were really good! They also offered fresh apple juice near the check in counter and also at breakfast buffet and the apple juice was one of the best apple juices I had. Aomori is famous for their apples. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The close proximity to Aomori station made transportation via walking or taxi incredibly easy and fast. The closeness to the the waterfront was also a delight as it allowed walking on the waterfront as a route back to the hotel which was beautiful and calming. The staff were also excellent and check-in/check-out were easy even in English as the staff keep a translator on hand. The only complaint I have is that there was some slight damage on the windowsill from what looked like moisture, but considering the climate of the area, and that they were clearly aware and working on it makes it extremely forgivable.
