They advertise as having a pool, but it’s at a different location and you have to pay $5USD per person. Pillows were very uncomfortable. Otherwise, the location is great and the food was good at their restaurant!
The humidity smell was unbearable, without any window in the room to air it out. I actually left the non-refundable room after an hour, had to book a 2nd room in another hotel. Additionally, there were dog paws all over the room, which even if it’s a pet friendly hotel, one would expect to have the room cleaned in between guests..

What was offered on the page was a room with a patio view and there was no patio. The photos of the pool are from another hotel of the same chain of hotels. The music was loud all the time and the there's no parking on the premises, it's about 15 minutes from the hotel. The room and the beds were fine

There is no parking at the property, they offer for a fee their parking lot which is about 20 minutes away, it would be good to have at least 1 parking in front of the hotel for loading and unloading baggage, tv's are old, hard to turn them on, they have a radio along the hotel and they put it really loud until about 10 - 11 it makes it impossible to rest during the afternoon, a lot of noise from the kitchen, the rooms were clean, good beds and bedding.
The staff are very nice. We were on the first floor right outside the front desk an the music was a little loud from the restaurant. We were extremely tired and went to bed early. I asked the front desk if they could turn the music down and he very nice and said yes. It went completely off at 10pm. We had 2 double beds and a single. The single was super comfy but the doubles were much firmer but the room was great and we felt very at home and comfortable. It would be nice if there was somewhere to put your clothes or hang towels in the bathroom other than on the toilet or sink. The bathroom felt very cramped because there is no place to put your stuff, clothes or towels.
Las habitaciones tenían un peculiar olor a guardado.

clean room with just the basics. no ac so be careful what time of year you book a stay. i went in august with taemps in low 80s and room was comfortable. could be uncomfortable in hotter weather.
Great place, central location but no swimming pool
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Colibri. Very friendly staff, clean rooms with a fan (No Air con though), central location with only a few minutes walk to everything you will need in Antigua.
Be aware that there is no swimming pool at the case even though they have a picture of it. You will have to walk 5-10 minutes to another hotel/casa and pay 5 USD per person per day to use it.

To much noise! People talking loud in the stairs/hall way very early! When I ask at the front desk they said their policy of noise it’s from 6am to 10pm but there where people talking loud even after 10pm or before 6am! I stay 4 nights and the 4 nights were always people talking loud.
The beds are sooooo hard! Is like sleeping on the floors! Pillowed were good, showers are very very small. The place is in good location.
I found this hotel to be very quaint, clean, and all the staff was very friendly. The location was central to all the sightseeing and many local restaurants and shopping. Unlike other reviews I did not have any issues with noise. Yes it is a city but the noise did not prevent sleeping. Highly recommend.
Muchas gracias Alicia y Christian en el restaurante!!!

Nice and simple
Small and simple hotel, the rooms are very small and the hotel is a little bit old. Located good.
Rooms are simple but nice enough. Our room was right next to the lobby and bar/restaurant, which could have been an issue if we wanted to be asleep before closing hours. The bar has a nice spread of food and drinks for good prices. Located in a good part of town, short walk to the central park and El Arco and close to other nice bars and restaurants. Clean bathrooms with good water pressure and consistent hot water which is not always the case in Guatemala. Fresh towels daily. Pool and kitchen are not on site but across the street at their sister hotel.
Everything PERFECT!!! Friendly staff, BEAUTIFUL people!!! Good food and GREAT location right near city center! Price is AMAZING! And they always make sure you’re ok, especially the ladies at the bar and restaurant areas.
it was horrible because they can not manage their stays with the page Expedia it was really the worst hotel I have ever stay, and they never solve the problem so it wouldn't stay in this hotel ever again.

There are better ones accross this property
Cons:
The room is a lot smaller than was shown on the photo, the room is almost the size of the bed really, we barely had space to move around. I think hotels.com should change the photo. The window opens to the corridor so whenever we open it, people can see us from outside but if we close it, the room is stuffy. The bathroom is so small, we can barely close the door. The room is definitely a single room, not for couples. There is no kitchen available too but the property opposite is from the same company as casa colibri too so we ended up using their kitchen. We decided to move to that opposite property with much bigger room for better price. The receptionist also couldn’t speak English, even a little bit, so even if I know some Spanish.. we had a difficult time understanding each other.
Pros:
Location is good and the room is cleaned everyday.
We were very pleased with this hotel. Staff were friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and had a lockable drawer for your valuables. The local area was full of bars and restaurants and in the middle of the old town.

Convenient location and close to everything. A bit noisy though at busy weekend nights because of a pub in front of the hotel with loud live music
It is a nice hotel in the center of Antigua, one block from the park and near the local market and most of the restaurants and shops. It was a bit noisy since we stayed in the first room, next to the restaurant. The hotel is inside the complex and it has a restaurant at the entrance, so you have to go through the small restaurant to access the rooms. No parking on-site for a vehicle. We had to pay extra for that. But a nice little hotel for spending a night or two. Very clean and the staff was very friendly.
