"I visited the Lara with the wife for a week mid march. I was a little worried as some of the reviews i had read had sort of put me off. I would say however that these bad reviews were in the whole were unjust. Yes the rooms are a little tired and could do with an uolift. The staff were fantastic. The food was mainly soft due to the amount of people having Turkey teeth. Tge bar was over priced and the shop across the road was just daylight robbery, however thus isnt the staffs fault. "We took ages trying to choose where we wanted to stay and which hotel. we definitely made the right decision. we had 5 nights here and they were so peaceful. the street is quiet as it doesn't have the traffic noise outside and it is not near noisy pubs and bars. the breakfast is outstanding. there is a selection of salad / cheese, ham, nuts / choice of eggs / pastries / cakes and a mezze delivered to your table.
