Les Tresoms Lake and Spa Resort

"Lovely hotel, well appointed design, room was perfect with balcony and view of the lake. It was the room we booked online and loved it! Bedding was comfortable and room was roomy. The spa had a mixed up with our reservations and one of our guest was not able to get a massage which was disappointing. They need an online system. We would return to the resort though because it was exactly what we needed from a rest perspective midway through a multi country European trip."

"Great location. Walking distance from the train station and bus terminal. Short walk to old city and the lake! Clean and modern rooms, comfortable beds, fantastic rain shower with really good water pressure. Breakfast was quite good as they provide farm fresh eggs and the typical French breakfast accompaniments."

"I checked in late with the machine that prints your cards for you right outside the main door, very simple. I didn't have enough time to book the parking spots but was able to find parking on the road nearby and it's just down the street from Poste parking garage. Street parking is free from 7pm-9am M-F and Sundays/Holidays. The washing machine also comes with laundry soap already so you don't have to buy any. You just need to get coins from the front desk (I forget how much a load costs maybe 5 euros). The bed and pillows are SUPER comfortable I slept very well. It's a beautiful short walk to the lakefront through the old town. I didn't partake in the breakfast nor the gym but I will be back!"

L'Impérial Palace

"This is a luxury hotel with fantastic views over the lake. Valet parking and luggage transfer (you can get to your car if you forget something) which was really helpful. Housekeeping is superb and the hotel is spotless. Be aware of the difference between La Table and Salon restaurants, especially if you only want a continental breakfast, as it isn't immediately obvious. Excellent selection of drinks and wine by the glass and helpful bar staff. My spoken French didn't rate with them, so English became the simplest option, but all the staff including the valet parking staff speak very good English. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk into Annecy along the top of the lake - giving you time to appreciate the gorgeous views when the weather allows. There are a lot of hire boat options, including pedalos, and several guided tours of different lengths down the lake. Annecy was very busy (in mid May) so the popular viewpoints are very crowded. Lots of restaurants and cafes along the little waterways, and it's a lovely old city full of interesting architecture."

"Great location, 5 minutes walk to the town. Really good bakery in reception for breakfast or Lunch. Free parking up the road until the end of June so dont need to pay for the hotel parking (This will be different in the summer) The room was clean and comfortable ( we had a comfort room) but no view, but that is what we paid for. Would definately recommend this hotel"
