"We had a wonderful stay at La Marronniere. Magnificent property with tastefully redesigned suites and views on the river.
The owners were so welcoming that for one week end we felt part of the family"
"Stayed at this amazing property my for one night with work colleagues before a work meeting in Fontainebleau. This is a private residence where the family and small staff serve you as if you are family visiting their home. The difference is the meals and the service are exquisite and your every whim is catered to; including a fire waiting for you outside the home ( … aka mansion) after dinner. Each room has its own private restroom and the decor takes you back in time as if you are...
"We loved our stay. The staff were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was excellent, and having the well-appointed kitchen was very useful. The room was comfortably and stylishly furnished, and the bed was extremely comfortable! "

"Chateau is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot. I would describe it as 'shabby chic' as there are areas where money could be spent. However it is lovely and features such as the sweeping staircase, chandelier's and furniture look gorgeous. Town is only 4 miles away with a range of restaurants. Continental breakfast was great and plentiful. Only met 1 member of staff at breakfast but she was lovely and gave us some of the history of the chateau. Another English couple were staying in Kings Room...
"Such a lovely place for our stop off on our way down to Valencia. Nice to relax by the pool while the children had a swim after a long drive. Hosts were so lovely, a guided tour of the property and lovely home cooked simple food. We will be recommending this place. Good luck in your plans for future renovations to the rooms. "Excellent staff’on arrival, extremely friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast served by same staff highlighting local products. Clean room with comfortable bed. Located’at edge of old city, a safe 10 l minute walk to the Chateau."
