"Belle vue sur la place de ma chambre. La chambre et la cuisine sont sur 2 étages donc prévoir qu’il y a des escaliers et notre appartement était aussi aux deuxième étage. Donc aux personnes âgées , beaucoup d’escalier pour les bagages et les aller-retour."

"Spacious room with enclosed deck area although directly overlooked by balconies of rooms above. Had hoped there would be bit of grass in the ‘garden’ for the dog as per other hotels on our trip, but totally covered with decking meant we had to take dog through hotel to entrance for a wee first thing in the morning. Hotel right next to public beach with nice beach bar and other amenities."

"It's truly a boutique hotel, personally owned by one man since 2005. It took him 2 years to renovate a neglected 19th century stable and create a luxurious retreat. The hotel only has 8 rooms (making it the smallest 5-star hotel in France), and it's open during Biarritz' high season, only 4 months. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are tastefully decorated in a blend of modern and period furnishings. "We chose this property based on reviews and it did not live up to the hype. I would have rather stayed at the next door property (I believe same ownership) for the same price. We did not like the interior style of the hotel or the pool area style. It seemed cheap but it was an expensive stay."
