"The Manoir is a charming, rustic property. A warm and friendly welcome from Marie. Te property is a couple of kilometres from the nearest village so peace & isolation is guaranteed. A refreshing dip in the pool on arrival was very welcome. Marie’s home cooking for the evening meal was lovely with a great selection of wines. The room was on the top floor. Good, comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great walk in shower."

"Nicely appointed renovated home. Had two dinners with guests that the proprietors made. Def would suggest enjoying the company and food. We had car trouble, and Marcel offered to take us to Hertz in Saumur. Acted as tour guide, chauffeur, and interpreter for us in Chinon as well as Saumur. Lovely area. "

"Wow what a find . This place is like staying at a picture postcard and the owners can’t do enough for you . They accommodated our slightly late arrival and cooked us up a French food delight . Best food we have eaten on our whole 3 week trip together with the best b and b we have stayed in . I cannot recommend this place enough and the surrounding medical village is just gorgeous. You can even have a swim in the lake and have a dip in a hot tub . We will definitely be back and have a longer...

"Excellent séjour. Nous avons dormi une nuit. Personnel très avenant, chambre superbe. Cadre exceptionnel . Pouvoir profiter de la visite de toute l'abbaye comprise dans le prix de la chambre est un bon plus (surtout que nous ne le savions pas et avons failli payer la visite avant d'arriver à l'hôtel). La restauration pique nique "panier de l' ermitage" est très bonne, mais mériterait d'être un peu plus copieuse pour ce tarif (ne serait ce que quelques amuse-bouche). Parfait pour un week-end en...
