"This was a great hotel. We got the penthouse suite which had it's own huge balcony and hot tub. The room itself was small but cozy. The bed was comfortable. Good linens and towels. The wifi was a little spotty but no complaints besides that. Make sure you get breakfast. It was incredible. Good staff."

"The property is beautiful. The lobby was decorated beautifully with the chandelier and the art wall. The location is great - rooftop dining provides spectacular views (day or night time.) dining was decent as well - breakfast options were plentiful and the dinner was delicious as well. The bathroom had a leak and once reported to the front desk, they were responsive. Additional housekeeping attention was needed in the bathroom as well. The pools closed at 7pm which was rather early...

"Staff were all helpful. Bar did a good coffee and spritz. Breakfast was just OK. Our biggest problem was that the rooms are not very soundproof. Added to that our floor was home to a young group of tourists who were loud and constantly opening and closing doors which banged and being very vocal in the corridor. Someone even knocked on our door around midnight. Lost I guess. Room was small. No way is this a 5 star hotel. 3 maybe."

"The Alex was charming, clean and centrally located. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The views are spectacular, especially from the rooftop restaurant/bar. The food was delicious and the staff was wonderfully accommodating and polite. I highly recommend this hotel to any travelers going to Piraeus."

"The room was clean and they departed the bed in two for us. If you are using the hotel before your cruise. Call your own taxi. When they do it cost more. They hav a convenient restaurant next door so no need to wander around looking."

"Great location if you want to be by the sea, near the restaurants, tram and the main highway - i.e. well connected. Rooms were quite small but had everything we needed. No gym but there is a local gym nearby the staff can point you to. Breakfast was also OK. Happy at the price."

"Newer property, very clean. Wonderful locations and awesome views of the Acropolis. Suit room seems to be too pricy for the size and amenities it comes at. Bathroom was too small and shower area was not properly enclosed so the bathroom kept getting water spills all over. Overall had a great stay."
