"The room was clean and the staff is very attentive however the set up is weird as there is no separate bathroom. Instead there is a bathroom and shower stall and a sink. You have to buy WiFi but they would not sell it to us because it was down most of the time. The property is beautiful, lots of pools and beach beds and chairs, the beach is gorgeous. The food is ok, not too many selections at the buffet - and the restaurants are not authentic. "

"Bathroom was nasty, the AC broke down 2 times and wouldn’t cool the room. The Shuttle is a mess non friendly drivers and doesn’t pass by enough your better of walking. Some staff members seem as if they didn’t want to be there and did not go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The Hotel has plenty of things to do with good pools nice beach and great entertainment."

"I had a confirmed reservation on Hotels.com but when I arrived THE HOTEL WAS CLOSED for renovations!!! It was a Saturday evening and other options were full or much more expensive. Fortunately the owners were there and said the hotel was damaged by a storm two months earlier and they decided to close it and do extensive renovations - a month before I made my reservation! The owners were very king and apologetic and offered me a just-renovated room for a huge discount. Clean bed and good a/c, but no hot water and of course, no pool or restaurant. Wifi in lobby only. I don't know why Hotels.com (Expedia) would let me make a reservation at a closed hotel! "
