It is further from the beach than other reviewers indicate but they have a very inexpensive tuk tuk service available. The pool is small but fits the bill when it is hot out and you don't want to go to the beach."

"This was our last stay in Sri Lanka & turned out to be a very relaxing end to our holiday. its right on the river & you can take a boat ride under the mangroves from the hotel's jetty - a memorable, scenic ride. the view of the river from the balcony of our room gave us a serene calm feeling. tables & chairs are provided outside each room on the balcony which can be serviced from a separate entrance.
