"A little disappointed with the hotel. From the reviews this seemed an amazing hotel but it was just okay. Check in process was super easy and the lady at reception was very nice and friendly! Room size was good and the balcony is a good touch, the rooms are a little worn out and could do with a freshen up. The most disappointing things were that the outdoor pool is a cold water pool which I guess with the Portuguese weather is all that is needed but we were there with the temp hitting 23-25 and it was REALLY cold! The hot tub wasn’t a hot tub and was out of use, all the lining of it had seemed to come away. There was a strong chemical smell in the room which must have been from cleaning but it was very strong! The hotel promote quiet time between 10pm and 8am but the walls are paper thin and everything can be heard, although not the hotels fault but they need to do something to enforce this. We paid for the breakfast and this didn’t disappoint, although a small range of items they seemed pretty fresh. Overall I would give this hotel a 5 out of 10, it’s not the worst but also not the best. If you’re looking somewhere to just sleep and get refreshed then I would say this is a great place to stay, location is ideal 15/20 mins from Albufeira, Vilamoura and Faro. "
