"I chose to stay at this property due to the location, for that it was perfect, extremely close proximity to Nottingham and a great stop off on my journey.
The downsides. First off, given the price of the room, I wasn't expecting much at £80 a night, but I certainly was expecting more. Upon opening the door to the room I was met with a foul odour that stayed with me for the whole night. "For a 500 year old buiklding it is still a really great place to stay. Large bedroom & bathroom. Lots of tables in the dining areas & good menu choice. Massive carpark, a very big plus when booking. This is what swayed me. Shops & cafes near by if required."
