Breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked to order. Good variety and choice. Staff very attentive both Tom and Michelle were excellent. Plenty of parking spaces.
Really nice place to stay aesthetically and all other reasons really. Friendly staff, nice room and lovely breakfast too. Will definately be staying here again.
Room was clean but dated and could do with a refresh. Evening meal was excellent, I had the steak & Malbec pie and it is one of the best pies I have ever eaten.
Breakfast was a bit hit and miss, there were two of us and one wanted black pudding and one didn’t but neither got any, nor did we get the fried bread, there were only two juices available, orange and apple (I think) but the orange juice ran out and not replenished although there were staff around. You could have tea or coffee by request but only one latte or cappuccino, there were no cereals, fruit or danish etc which you would expect from a hotel chain such as this (Marstons).
However the staff, especially at dinner, were absolutely fantastic, always on hand to help and not too overbearing with the usual ‘is your meal ok’ type scenario. They are a credit to the company.
The reason for the 3 stars is the room needing updating and the breakfast.
Excellent room, comfortable bed, very clean. Although I didn’t eat at the hotel, it was extremely busy throughout my stay, so obviously good food.
Staff were welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help.
Definitely recommend.
Staying to attend a party in the local village . Have stayed here many times for business and it has always been first class. Food is excellent the steak and lamb pies are to die for.
