"nice, grand hotel that has seen better days many many years ago"

"The location of the hotel is great: walking distance to the obelisk and plaza mayor. Few blocks away from the theater district full of entertainment and eateries. Beautiful buildings all around but sadly appeared to have seen better days. We really appreciated the firm comfortable mattresses. We didn’t mind the thin towels or lack of fancy toiletries products. Quiet room, comfortable mattresses, helpful staff, and great location made this hotel a great choice for us. The breakfast was not good value but diagonally across the street, Cafe Martinez offered good choices."

"Beautiful bar/lounge, very nice breakfast and very helpful staff. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. Great location near parks, the capitol, and restaurants."

"The staff but also people in hotel often made racist remarks, they thought we don’t speak Spanish and felt free to say what ever they like. Besides that the interior of the hotel and apartment can use an update, the couch was broken in our room and the tv as well."
