While the room was lovely, it was next to the elevator shaft, which was creaking. So every time someone used the elevator, there was this low-pitch, long creak audible in the room, which was rather annoying. Also, I was staying on the 6th floor and the lift on the right had a faulty 6th floor button. It took almost a minute for the front desk lady to activate it.

Good station hotel

Great location across the road from the station and an east 5-10 minute walk into town. For the money a great hotel with a comfortable bed and good sized room. Staff were friendly. We ate at the restaurant as we struggled to get in anywhere in town without a booking on a Saturday night and the meal was very good. An ideal hotel if you're travelling to/from the train station and the price is good.

Noisy room but not because of the street noise. Our room doors (there were 2 doors) were vibrating every time another client from the same level was entering or going out from this room. During all the 6 nights it was impossible to sleep before midnight and after 7h-7h30 when the cleaning lady was starting her work and was opening the window from the hall.

property is old need proper attention. First night we were put in a room on unfinished floor. the hallway ceiling is being replaced and just covered with plastic sheet. airconditioning is non existing. when we came back after going to Grenoble, we were put in a room that smells like disinfectant and the bathroom lights are not working. It was late in the afternoon and the reception clerk was apologetic, that their maintenance is no longer available. she offered us a free drink in the bar ( we refused ). at least she did what she can. much appreciated. on the positive, the staff are excellent and the property is opposite to train station.

The hotel was situated opposite the station so was convenient for our onward travel. The hitel wasxquiet, clean and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast choice was excellent

Ottima struttura, proprio di fronte alla stazione di Chambery e a poca distanza dal centro. Camere grandi e pulite, letto molto comodo, colazione varia e di qualità (ma piuttosto cara). Punti migliorabili: armadio molto piccolo (malgrado l'ampiezza della camera) con nessun ripiano per appoggiare le proprie cose. Presenza del piumino ad agosto.

Heel veroudert hotel met gedateerde kamers. Geen restaurant, geen echte bar. Besparen op water is top, jammer dat er zoveel bespaart wordt op het water dat je elke keer 3-4 keer moet doortrekken voor het wc papier weggaat. Maar toch bedankt.

Personnel à la réception très courtois et sympathique. Chambre vétuste, salle de bain d’un autre temps. Lit d’une taille très inférieure à ce qu’on trouve habituellement dans des hôtels de moyenne gamme. Petit déjeuner correct. Un hôtel suffisant pour une nuit de passage, pas plus.
