"Every where was immaculate, I had a single room and there was even an iron and board in the room, which was beautifully decorated. Cliff the host was so welcoming and the breakfast was delicous, so much choice always cooked fresh. Will definately be coming back"

"I was shocked on arrival that they would not accept a card from Google Wallet and insisted on an actaual card. What possible difference can it make. Fortunately there was someone else in the party who had a card on them. Really., in the 21st century."

"We booked two rooms - one of which hadn't been cleaned on arrival but staff were very helpful and quick to sort an alternative room. Rooms are run down unfortunately and could do with some TLC in places. But the rooms are a really good size so as a large family across two rooms we didn't feel cramped. Car park is chargeable which doesn't guarantee you a space in there. We wne to out to find the car park very full despite having already paid so just something to be mindful of. Booked through...

"The hotel was disgustingly. It stank of cigarettes. Chose it as conveniently close to Anfield for a match we were attending. The room was filthy. Dust everywhere No bin. No tea or coffee facilities as advertised. Not even a bin in the room. Tv didn’t work. Only 1 towel for 2 of us. Bathroom dusty and shower was filthy. Toilet cistern dripped all night. Couldn’t wait to leave. Please avoid."

"Room itself fine but newly fitted shower tray flooded bathroom - Room service poor as 3 different menus give 3 different times this is available and a 4 Star hotel stopping room service at 8.00pm???? Wnen cold sandwiches came with chips quality was v poor - drie out bread a scraping of butter and over-fried oily chips - definitely not a 4 Star hotel - younger bar tender needs training on customer service and attitude. Housekeeping staff and receptionist great."
