"This resort is amazing. You are so close to all the activities you would want to do!
We came here for a girls trip and were not disappointed. We went tubing in the river, zip lining in the forest canyon, horse back riding, the national park with boiling mud beds 👀 and saw waterfalls that took our breath away! All of this is on the property that shuttles can take you too if you did not rent a vehicle. Plus restaurants on site and unforgettable service!
Would recommend for families, solo...

"We really enjoyed our stay! Jorge made sure we had a pleasant stay and the staff was really nice. The unit we had was basic but clean, of a good size and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent (you can choose from 3 options) and we also had dinner there twice (there is nothing around), which was also good and well priced. We enjoyed the walking trails. It was a very relaxing stay. Note that the road to get to the ranch is bad so you need a 4x4. Even though it was remote, it was a great base...

"Best Stay of Our Costa Rica Trip — Malekus Mountain Lodge
This was, hands down, the best place we stayed during our 10 days in Costa Rica. Not only is the property itself beautiful, but we had the pleasure of being the only guests, so Roger and Rosy treated us like family. They helped us shape our itinerary to have a more authentic, local experience, and honestly ended up defining our whole trip.

"A hidden gem in guanacaste province! By far my favorite place, from the warm welcome, to the well-thought out layout of our cabin, to the excellent service all around!
The place is clean, safe, well maintained, easy to navigate even for our young kids, who felt right at home.

"The nicest people and wonderful hosts. I mentioned that we would be celebrating our daughter’s bday while we were there and they knocked on the door with a huge slice of chocolate cake and a candle and sang Feliz cumpleanos. It was the sweetest thing and so special for our family. It was such a kind gesture and it set the tone for the rest of our time there. Breakfast was a lovely production. We entered the dining room and they just started bringing out entree after entree, fruit, eggs, gallo...

"We loved our stay at this property, we were shown around by Angie who seemed to be the animal whisperer. Wherever we went we saw all sorts of animals, monkeys, sloths, toucans, humming birds and so many more. It’s a beautiful paradise and we loved every minute we had here. We were sad to have to move on when we did. Thankyou so much for looking after us so well."
