The host was wonderful and even met as at the front of the property to take us to our location. He answered all our questions and gave us a tour. The view was amazing and the pool was right there! "This was a beautiful property. We stayed in the Jaguarundi room and had a lovely view of the whale tale from our room’s balcony. It was a very nice size with a separate bedroom (but note there is not a door to close it off) and a separate sitting area and an additional area next to the sitting area with an additional queen bed. It’s so lush all around the property and we saw so many beautiful birds and some spider monkeys from our room. The bathroom was absolutely beautiful with a stone shower and counter. The staff were lovely and so helpful. There are hiking trails on the property which was really cool to have access to. Be aware there is no AC but there are ceiling fans and stand fans. We were here in September and found it doable but at times it can feel a bit warm. We would happily stay here again."

"We stayed for 5 nights at the hotel. The hotel has the most beautiful view of the ocean. The restaurant was great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The swimming pool was beautiful. We saw all kinds of birds and animals in the ground of the hotel. Highly recommend for anyone staying around the Uvita area with a car."
