"The location was really good, close proximity to Niigata Station. The room and bathroom is your typical average size Japanese hotel room and combo bathroom.
When we stayed in early March the hotel’s AC system was programmed to heater only which was too warm so we had to turn it off and keep the window cracked open for air. The area is not very noisy even at night so that was a plus.
Breakfast was a highlight of this hotel and that made up for the other shortcomings. The selections were plentiful and they had food offerings that were specialties of Niigata."
"Conveniently close to Niigata station with lots of restaurants, shops, and easy transportation nearby. Room was clean and well maintained. Excellent value."
"Stayed 2 nights with family (2 kids), breakfast is good with lots of Japanese options. Really close to Niigata Sta. but great connectivity with buses to rest of city. Walking distance to Furumachi.
Consider this as a Holiday Inn Express with smaller rooms. Also consider beds are twin beds so they are small for 2 adults and 2 kids but it does the job. If you have more budget consider other options with bigger beds/space or 2 rooms."
"The property and rooms were a little dated and the rooms smelled like smoke. Room size was adequate and breakfast buffet was good, with Adele ton of local area dishes.
But overall good value"
"Central location, all amenities worked, very cheap price and just a small surcharge for breakfast. Very helpful front-desk young lady and a range of extras like iced drinks in the reception area, including ice cubes."
