The property was beautiful and the hosts were very kind and helpful. The hotel is walking distance to the beach with different places to eat along the way. We were offered a continental breakfast which was delicious! I would definitely stay again!
Location is a bit far away from everything e.g shop, anyhow beach is nice and just couple of minutes to walk there. In the last days of of September only way to go somewhere if you do not want to walk, is taxi and normally you have to wait for it at least 20 minutes

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
I booked a 3-night stay at Vagia Traditional Hotel through Expedia and reached out to the hotel directly to confirm my reservation. The owner, who is part of the family that owns the hotel, confirmed our booking just three days before our arrival.
However, while we were on a ferry to Aegina, just an hour before our arrival, I received an email from the hotel (sent by the Hotel’s manager and owner) stating, “There is a problem with a small infestation in the room, and it will be unusable for the next 3 days.” How convenient—just one hour before our arrival, a single room is suddenly affected, and the treatment will take exactly 3 days.
I know this was a lie, and the entire story was fabricated to cancel my reservation. I believe the real reason for the cancellation was greed.
Without consulting us, the owner took it upon themselves to book us into a different hotel in a different town, claiming it was a better option because it had a pool. Imagine booking a hotel in the heart of Athens, in Plaka, and then finding yourself in Pangrati. While Pangrati is a nice neighborhood, it’s not what you chose. It’s incredibly rude and presumptuous to decide for your customers what’s best for them.
I wouldn’t trust this hotel or its management with anything. Who knows if they properly clean the rooms or use quality ingredients in their meals? Establishments like this don’t last. I strongly advise staying away from this hotel and its management.
Quaint little hotel in a quiet area about 20 min from Aegina port. A few min walk from the beach. The grounds are beautifully kept and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Perfect getaway to unwind.
A great place with great staff, really welcoming and a good breakfast. Its a bit outside of the marinas and transport is needed, but it is a great starter point for visiting Temple of Hephaestus, the church on the hill behind the hotel is also a great place to view the sunset. It is a nice and quiet hotel and with welcoming staff, certainly recommended.

Don’t stay there!!!
Make sure to check out all the bad reviews before you book. My experience was quite unpleasant due to the manager's odd and impolite behavior. If you look at the sarcastic and rude replies to feedbacks, you'll get the full story. When you request a taxi, they just call their buddy who charges you twice as much.
We had a fantastic stay at Vagia Hotel, the owners really go above and beyond to make their guests comfortable and relaxed. The hotel itself is charming, and the room we had was great. 5 min walk from a beach, and about a 20 min drive from the main port. Great breakfast and just a great place to relax...I hope to come again!
The host/staff were awesome, the place was super well maintained and beautiful. Everything you would want from a little villa inn on the Mediterranean. We paid the 9 eoro each to have breakfast and boy that was worth it, really nothing to complain about at all. I would say you pretty much need a car or moped to get around so dont just take the bus or you will be sad. I think you need to let them know if you wanna eat there so they can prepare, in retrospect we should have tried to have dinner there too.
Lekker rustig gelegen. Ontbijt typisch Greek of a la carte. Vriendelijk personeel.
