Now on the negatives: I had higher expectations for their breakfast, and unfortunately, the food quality and taste didn't meet. Their gym is also underground and extremely musty. Decided not to work out after seeing it. "

"I stayed here twice - in September 2025 and again in May 2026 - and both stays were excellent. The staff are warm and professional, and the location is good for sightseeing by taxi, though less ideal for walking since the hotel sits on a hill. Nişantaşı is about 15 minutes away on foot, Dolmabahçe Palace around 10 minutes downhill, and Taksim Square roughly 15 minutes away. The hotel itself is fantastic, with a huge lobby, luxury boutiques, and one of the best Bosphorus views in Istanbul - especially from 16 Roof (reservations recommended). My suite was very large, with a dining table, several sofas and armchairs, and two bathrooms. Water pressure was excellent. Suite guests get Executive Lounge access, including breakfast, so there’s no need to pay extra for a breakfast package. The lounge breakfast is decent but somewhat limited by Turkish luxury-hotel standards. Breakfast in the main restaurant, however, is truly excellent and much more extensive. The hotel also has a very good gym plus indoor and outdoor pools. Very little to complain about. If I had to nitpick, the bathrooms lack a bidet, which feels surprising at this level of luxury. Also, outside breakfast and happy hour, the lounge offers relatively limited snacks and drinks. Overall, this is an outstanding five-star hotel and one of the best luxury-value options in Istanbul. Even as a long-time Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador/Titanium member, I would happily stay here again over many Marriott properties in the city."

"Very clean and good location, near bus and metro and taksim square. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Spend 8 nights there with out issues"

"Room was very spacious, and ultra clean! A/C worked well, and it was very easy to maintain a perfect room temperature. Never met a staff member who wasn't smiling. Morning breakfast buffet was an abundance of riches! (I won't dare tell how much weight I gained!) Highly recommend this hotel."

"The gym was not well equipped even what little equipment they had like exercise bike was broken The steam room and sauna was meant to close at 10pm but they would turn it off @8pm when I complained they said made up things like some time you don’t get steam then the next day it was under maintenance and the next day it was for heath Safty reason then when complained the main reception desk they said they should do that we will back to you but never did I was told why don’t come earlier I said I would come earlier if said close at 8pm I can work to that but you say close at 10pm but close when ever like frankly I found the staff to very rude Over a six weeks period I stay there nearly three weeks on and off "

"All staff was very helpful as we have very little understanding of Turkish language. They all were very kind….a common trait of the Turkish people. Especially, Elif in the restaurant. Very very helpful! Thoroughly enjoyed the garden room with access to outside courtyard which is strategically placed below grade…..blocking the wind and much of the noise from the city above."
