"Check in was straight forward, and we were shown to our room. Room was clean and ready for us. After showering and getting changed , we went to the bar for a beer. Good choice of beers , and the bar staff were very friendly. Enjoyed our food there too. Breakfast was lovely , and we left feeling refreshed and well fed. We were walking the Sandstone Trail , so it was an ideal stop over for us. Highly recommended "

"Nice location. Everything fine. Nice to have 2 chairs in a double room, often other places only provide 1. I have no problems with anything here, but if you're looking for points for improving ratings, I'd say TV could have been bigger (couldn't really watch it from the bed in room 6), and it would have been nice to be able to help yourself to breakfast items like cereals, milk, juice."

"The most immaculately clean dog friendly hotel room I have ever visited. Absolute bonus having the complimentary spa use, the pool was lovely and warm and the jacuzzi was a dream. The food from the bar was delicious with many gluten free options. Tasha served us our food and she was a star so helpful and friendly. The only suggestion I could give to improve is modernising the hallways a little and improving the appearance of the room windows from the outside as they looked a little underwhelming...

"Property on main road but still a very quiet location. Staff very welcoming and rooms clean. Well maintained and adequate size. Breakfast was included which was a bonus and was the usual uk buffet style. Staff were overworked and we had to wait for a table to be be cleaned as it was busy but this was quick. Overall very good value for a nice hotel and would stay again if in the area."

"I've stayed at the property several times whilst attending a work training event. On a number of occasions I have been allocated a room on the opposite side of the hotel from the rest of my colleagues. When I queried this at check in, I was advised there were no other rooms available. What I also find disappointing is that one of my colleagues consistently appears to receive room upgrades, yet whenever I have politely asked, I am told that nothing is available. "The outer look is deceptive. This place has been refurbished to a higher standard. Great price too! The breakfast is amazing good bacon excellent sausages. Rich Lichfield yogurts. Help yourself to anything. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are a few sweet cats sunbathing- so cute. I will Definately stay again!!"

"A Lovely cottage with plenty of space. Very nice and clean, highly recommended. A little tricky to find in the dark so could possibly do with larger signage. "

"Amazing break! Staff all friendly. Food in main restaurant was amazing and had a great massage at spa by Hannah. Spa was all lovely and clean and not overcrowded. The only thing was the relaxation room was not open after our massage as we chose the last session. The pastries at breakfast were not worth the calories as a bit stodgy. Other dishes were absolutely amazing. Thanks"
