"Overall, this was a great stay. Next time however, I would not stay on the Royal Mile. We learned that this is an extremely busy and very loud street in the heart of the tourist District. Not only is it right across the street from a very large church with loud bells that continue to ring into the night… The bars open up with many people still strolling down the streets at one or two in the morning. "Our stay at Six Brunton Place was everything we had hoped for. The room was beautiful, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast each morning was absolutely wonderful. Martin was such a lovely host—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful with recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Edinburgh and would happily return. Highly recommend!"

"We couldn’t get in touch with the owner, and hand to contact Hotels.com to be able to get information about the check in. You’re really paying for the location with this place. It’s really close to everything including the old town, the castle and Princes street garden. But the kitchens smells bad, probably the fridge. The rooms smells like mold and I’m allergic… and there was some others hair all over the bathroom. I think what bothered us the most though was that there was absolutely NO HEAT....
