"This was our first trip to Scotland and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice with the Virgin Hotel. From the moment we checked in with Connor handling our luggage, to every concierge helping us navigate the city; the service/experience was incredible. This was also our first stay at a Virgin Hotel and it will not be our last. We are doing more international travel in the future and Virgin Hotels will be our first choice. "

"Incredible birthday night away, got two free drinks for the occasion for the hotel bar BABA, as well as the lovely woman on check-in who gave us an upgraded room for the occasion. I don’t remember her name but she was working on 20/06 and was so lovely and helpful. Had a slight leak with the A/C which didn’t bother us at all, but it was immediately fixed whilst we were popped out for the evening and two gin and tonics were left for us on our return. "Very nice hotel. Fantastic location, nice rooms. We selected a room with two double beds, and for some reason or another there was an issue with the room. They upgraded us to a deluxe suite with one king bed, and offered a rollaway bed for the second. I was worried initially that my partner wouldn’t find the rollaway suitable(I snore so he needs to be able to get away from me if it’s too bad) but it ended up being just fine. And the room itself was very nice and spacious with a fabulous balcony....

"This property is fantastic! A bit of a walk (20 mins) to all the touristy activities, but worth it for the rooms and the castle views! The club level was worth it for the breakfast, drinks, and snacks whenever. "

"The room was absolutely beautiful and comfortable for a family of four. The restaurant inside the hotel and the ones around were amazing and it’s really close to major attractions like the castle. Will come back!"
