"We stayed one night at The Milner York and absolutely loved it. The location was perfect—just a short walk from the city walls and everything we wanted to explore. Our room was beautifully appointed, quiet, and full of character, with thoughtful touches that made us feel truly welcome. The staff were kind and attentive, and the whole atmosphere felt charming and peaceful. We’d happily stay here again on our next visit to York!"

"Convenient city centre location, but quiet inside hotel, apart from a nearby clock tower which chimes every 15 minutes and can be heard from inside. Rooftop restaurant and bar with lovely views. Modern room with high ceilings, AC and fridge in room. Room 4/5 because bathroom was very small, no coffee machine, robe or slippers (as you usually get in other hotels in this price range)."

"Great from check in till check out. Breakfast buffet was lovely. Work going on, so a bit difficult to park, but we found a space. Short walk into the town with lots of places to eat with 5/10 minutes walk. Would book again when visiting Harrogate "

"Every time I stay at this IHG on the outskirts of York I am greeted with warmth, professionalism and kindness. Amber was on reception, she was very professional and check in was effortless and quick. She also helped me out with a couple of queries. Breakfast was wonderful as usual, really nice staff, full of smiles & helpfulness."
