"Hersonissos is very chill. My hotel was fabulous- did not see a need to go out to clubs, etc., except for excursions, as it was all inclusive. There was nightly entertainment, 5 pools, several restaurants, and my own private beach. Very kid/family friendly as well as singles. "

Die Speisen im Haupt-Speisesaal (Buffet) waren z.T. besser als bei den Themen-Restaurants, wo man im Voraus reservieren muss. "Lovely setting, right on the beach. Staff very helpful and friendly, food very good for buffet and three al a Carte restaurant meals included. Room was a good size and separate area for teenage kids ideal. Only half hour drive from Heraklion airport and parking free at hotel. We rented a car as late flight and wanted to get to hotel ASAP. Car rental cheaper than private transfer and easy drive. Paid for late check out as return flight not till after 11pm and was well worth it."

"We had a brilliant 8 nights at Creta Maris. It’s a beautiful resort with fantastic facilities. Staff were all very friendly although service in restaurants could be a little slow at times. We were upgraded to adult area rooms luckily as sun beds by the pool were a scarce resource unless you were willing to reserve them by around 7.30am every morning. "Lovely hotel. Spotless, calm and very.comfortable. First rate service from all the staff. Can get a little noisy in the sea front rooms due to late night revellers so if you are used to silence in the early hours bring ear plugs! Despite this I wiyld highly recommend this hotel. "

"We arrived at the hotel and immediately they upgraded our room to a room with a private pool (very nice, but unfortunately not usable). Everything was perfect and appreciated. The food in the main room is excellent and with a wide selection, the chef is always there with a big smile. On the other hand, in the two restaurants, unfortunately, the food is not made on site, Just heats it up and serves it. It's a shame, because these are good quality products!
