"The room itself was fine, but the amenities were poor. The room is only made up if you're staying more than two days, and even then it's only on request. Our bins were never emptied in a week. Tea and Coffee was not refilled. The self check-in procedure worked badly, and required an extra £10 per day parking fee, which I was still charged even when not using the car park. Despite trying to position itself as a family hotel, access to the pool is limited for families, and the onsite restaurant...

Bozena was fantastic at breakfast, providing friendly and attentive service, and the barman was very accommodating by providing a fan during the current heatwave, which was greatly appreciated. "Please do not contemplate staying here over the summer months, we stayed over royal Ascot weekend and I cannot put into words how hot the rooms and the corridors were it felt really unsafe. They give you a desk fan in the room however this did absolutely nothing for the room temperature. I’m 7 and a half months pregnant and was looking forward to this stay, instead I felt faint and extremely hot over the 2 nights we were there. My husband and I had to ring"
