"If I could, I would give more than 5 stars for this breathtaking riad in the old city Fes. If you are a frequent traveler, you probably have have experienced the catfish aspect of a property posting it's unrealistically beautiful pictures on these platforms. Riad Mazar Fes is the exception. Pictures don't do justice to how beautiful this exceptionally build and meticulously maintained riad. And that is not the best thing about it. For starters, it's people tops the charts.

"Our room was perpetually damp. The sheets and the pillow were always damp. The AC seemed to not work or help with the problem (although we didn’t ask about fixing it bc it took a while to realize the problem). The fan in the bathroom didn’t help much either. The room was only turned over once on our last day. Towels were worn out and yellow. The owner was kind of awkward and made some weird comments. "We felt welcomed as friends / family at Riad Fez Baraka from start to finish. Absolutely top notch hotel and would stay here again. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the dinner and breakfast are both superb, the room was a palace that is very ornately decorated, and the hammam / massage services are excellent. Very good value for money. Free airport shuttle was a greatly appreciated bonus as well. Can't say enough nice things about this riad and the entire staff. One of the better hotels...

"Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans ce magnifique Riad. Le personnel est tellement attentionné ( Hasan, yusuf et Khadya et tout les autres membres de l’établissement). Ce fut un séjour parfait!"
