Beautiful room and Riad in general. Staff were helpful and pool looked nice even though we didn’t swim in it. The terrace was also great with really nice views over the Medina.
The Riad is absolutely beautiful. Close proximity to the medina and about a 30 min walk to the blue gate. Nice rooms friendly staff and decent breakfast.
I had a wonderful stay at Riad Jamaï! The riad itself is beautifully designed, with a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. One of the highlights of our visit was the exceptional service provided by Said. He gave us fantastic recommendations for exploring the city and made our experience even more memorable with his kindness and great conversations. Thanks to Said and the entire team, our trip was truly unforgettable. I highly recommend staying here!
Once we got to know the staff at the Riad they were lovely and kind to us. It is definitely one of the best Riad’s in the area. We loved that it wasn’t in the main tourist hub which would have been loud and very busy. It was lovely to be able to walk amongst the locals and experience the real Fes life, eating at local street vendors and feeling very safe and welcome. Would highly recommend and will return.

1 star is for the Riad. The staffs seemed nice but created multiple catastrophes to us. First, the location is very remote from the Medina and the staff was not responsive enough to help us arrange a transfer. Second, the staff Safae arranged a tour guide for us saying that was a professional guide will tour us whole day bring us to the major sightseeing spots. We clarified the spots included the palace, blue gate and Medina prior confirming the booking. Of course the guide ended up only brought us to the hard sell shopping places inside Medina, nothing else. We had to find our way get rid of the guide after paying her. Third, the date we departure, another staff didn’t let us leave claiming that we hadn’t paid. Of course we paid as we booked at Hotels.com. We showed her the receipt; she asked us why her colleague told her to ask us to pay and kept trying with us. We almost missed our transfer to the desert. Forth, the drain in shower didn’t work; we soaked our feet to finish washing hairs and shower. We told the staffs the other morning, they said they would fix it and of course they didn’t. The interior of the riad is gorgeous but I recommend not to trust the staffs.
This staff was outstanding! I will remember them whenever anyone asks me about the people in Morocco. We got lost on the way to the riad. I called them and they sent someone out to guide me into the area. Then they helped me setup my parking for my stay. When we got to the riad, we were treated so kindly. They helped setup a tour of the medina and a drive to Chefchaouen for the day. They prepared food for us and it was amazing. When I was preparing to leave, our hostess walked to the parking area and she made sure I would easily be able to access my car early in the morning.
This Riad looks very nice with a small Pool inside (nobody used) The windows go to this direction, what means its noisy as soon as somebody is there, coming, eating etc.
The surrounding is very poor and dirty. Coming home late means YOU HAVE to take a taxi to the closest possible. There are no Restaurants close by, nothing to do after dark and I would not recommend to go out in the dark alone.
The riad staff is not much about privacy.
The first evening one of them terrorized me 9pm to enter the room taking out a baby-bed. I was already sleeping and told him - but he forced me to open the room.
The last day someone tried to come into the room 11am through a back door, while I was in. Seeing me, just closed and gave a run. Strange behaviour.
On the arrival day they didn‘t believe my booking - I had to show them how much I paid for the room?!
We stayed just 1 night. The first day we arrived early at the morning and the second day we also checked out early, so the host provided us the breakfast at the first day, that was fantastic big portion local meal!
Besides, the host helped to arrange the pickup service from the CTM station, the 20min trip charged us $80, it would be at least 50% cheaper if we took the taxi.
For the location, it was outside the medina, <10min taxi would cost $15 by meter. The leather tannery is also walking distance <15min but guys please reject the tour guide at the entrance! They will charge you if you didn't purchase, and in fact their products are not that special, you can find the same thing in the medina. Please do negotia the price (50-70% lower) if you buy something in EVERY cities in Morocco!!!

We spent two nights at the riad. The house itself is beautiful, but it’s important to know that the open layout means the rooms overlook the restaurant/lobby on the ground floor, so the noise level isn’t completely calm. You should also be aware that the neighborhood is not a tourist area.
The Riad Jamaï is a peaceful and beautiful place to rest, disconnect and enjoy the city.
It’s no near to the Medina, but is easy and cheap take a taxi.
The staff is helpful and kind.
We dinner at the hotel and the food are so good
The pool is small but it’s fantastic to refresh in his wonderful patio.
We recommend be a guest at this Riad.
The staff is super kind and helpful. You really feel at home.
The architecture is so so beautiful and incredible! The pool is a cool size too.
The meals are super good!
The staff at this Riad were the best you could ever hope for. Extremely helpful from start to finish and couldn't have been more friendly. The Riad was very comforatble, delicious breakfast / dinner and the location was perfect. Highly recommend!!
We had a very lovely stay. The staff was amazing, the food was well prepared and the main part of the Riad is simply breathtaking.
Be sure to book a room on the ground floor as they are beautifully appointed. Some oth the others are a bit more standard in decoration but certainly comfortable and clean. The staff was so helpful and we made arrangements for daily activities with their input.
