"This very new seeming property was excellent and I'd certainly choose it again for another stay at Besshoonsen. Room was and clean relatively spacious, the three private spas worked well (although the hotel was not full when I stayed). Meals were delicious, dinner and breakfast, and sensible quantities. If you're thinking of an overnight here a) you should come - it is a lovely old town and b) this place has your back for a bit of onsen magic while you are here."

"This facility is suitable for relaxing all the time with big outside bathtub and quiet room. We could stay in safe and really enjoy all of the time. Especially when we were in the 2nd floor in our room to take a outside bath, we were amazed by the beautiful sight of the stars. Although the temperature was so low, I guess it’s below zero, we were so excited to staring at the stars thanks to the hot spring. "The young owners of this property are very sweet, kind and really try to be helpful. They seemed that had not quite got the hang of being proprietors, but they are very likable. Compared to other places we stayed cluttered with not quite the same and amenities. The owner was very helpful when we got stuck in snow bank during a snowstorm via messages. If you get a chance, listen to Echo play the piano "
