"I wanted to take a bath so I got a couple of the Clorox wipes to wipe down the bath tub. The first swipe I did came up with debris and hair. It grossed me out, so I decided to take a shower. The water lapped at my ankles because there was so much hair clogging the drain!! Then I dropped something behind the nightstand and found tons of dust there. "Large sized room (King Bed). The carpet could really use updating as well as the refrigerator provided in the room. I could not open the fridge door all the way because it hit the floor and would get stuck. Room was clean, gave us plenty of towels, coffee maker worked. If the beds were updated we would stay again but until then I will pass as I don't like feeling the springs of the mattress. "

"Place is pretty cool being a historic hotel but does show signs of wear- it is over 100 after all. Smells a bit musty. No hot water at all evening or morning, staff didn’t seem to care and certainly not surprised. No restaurant or bar which they said was all of a sudden…not too sure about that. Breakfast included was cold cereal and microwavable egg sandwich -better than nothing. Fruit was fresh. Staff friendly and bed comfy. Would stay again if in a bind. "
