"Good hotel and good staff"

"This hotel was easily one of the best hotels we stayed in Japan. The hotel rooms have a proper ryokan feel and the hotel staff are the nicest people I have came across in Japan. We didn’t even ask them for a shuttle pick up from our bus stop but a car with a driver was already there They provide free shuttle to and fro Sukurai station which I wish I knew from before. Oh and the views from the rooms are just exquisite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in a heartbeat. My only regret is that...

"The staff here are the most welcoming and hospitable that I’ve ever encountered. This is our second time visiting the Setre Naramachi Hotel as a couple and it’s been nothing short of an absolute delight. The rooms are luxurious and spacious. The location is conveniently next to a station so traveling around Japan was easy to do. We can’t wait to come back! "

"We had a lovely time here! We were travelling by public transport, and this spot is a little of out of the way, but they sent a shuttle to the train station and it was easy to arrive. It was not clear from their website that the restaurant would not be open for dinner, and the closest restaurant by foot (other than McDonald's) was a 30 minute walk away. That was no problem; we had a nice walk, a great dinner, and really loved the onsen!"

"This was the single best stay I had in Japan. I cannot even put into words how amazing. It was a tradition Japanese place, public baths that were spotless and cozy, got kimonos for our stay and inside house slippers, the meals were unique and intricate.
