"Villas HM Palapas del Mar is a little piece of paradise. The beachfront palapas and hammocks are located on a gorgeous section of beach, the grounds of the hotel themselves are very well cared for and lush but what really stood out for us was the attention of Mike and all the staff in the restaurant. The food was great and the buffet varied each night and there is always somebody nearby to check in on you or take away your plates. The restaurant also has live music some evenings. I should also mention the front desk staff are very helpful and polite. Villas HM Palapas del Mar has two levels of all inclusive but they both include meals and bike usage. We were happy with the regular all-inclusive but the more costly all-inclusive includes meals at the sushi restaurant and more exclusive alcohols. We aren’t big drinkers so the regular level of all-inclusive was great for us. If you want a quiet, beautiful spot, away from it all, where they take good care of you. This is the spot. "

"Do not listen to the negative reviews! I was a little worried before arrival, but after 6 nights I can assure you this is one of the best, if not THE Best on Isla Holbox. The staff were lovely and extremely accommodating. I received a text on the 3rd day explaining to me that they could not service our room because we had cash/valuables laying out in our room. The food and service was outstanding, and we were so well cared for by Louis and Javier. Yes, the rooms were a little noisy due to the wood floors and beautiful construction, but earplugs made sleeping easy and I didn’t mind hearing a small amount of noise in the room above us. The beach area and day beds were fantastic and always available. The short 10-15 minute walk into town meant you could go into town for meals and excitement and noise, and then return to this quiet slice of heaven. The beach on this side of town (toward Punta Mosquito) was a picture postcard and far superior to the beach on the other side of town (toward Punta Coco). Book it, and like us, you’ll be glad you did!"

"Very nice hotel a big plus when you arrive for check In and they welcome you with a delicious drink. Very close to beach, outside pool very clean and surrounded by beautiful green areas. Room was on second floor a little tight but bed was very comfortable"
