"We had a lovely double room with a sofa bed for our boys. The room was spacious with a lovely ensuite. Breakfast was delicious and included gluten free options. A nice climbing frame/ slide in the garden. Friendly staff."
"Really lovely spot for a b&b!!!! Staff were really nice and helpful!! Breakfast was really lovely - particularly as a veggie!!!! Room was too small for two and the only reason why facilities scored a four. It was ok for one night for two of us, but wouldn’t want any longer.

Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent.
I would definitely recommend a stay at Kingsmede ,it fulfilled all my wife and I hopes"
