"We arrived late after a long travel and wanted something close to the airport. We had limited options last minute. The walls in the condo needed a good scrub down. The beds were comfortable and clean. They provided way more than enough towels which was nice. However I felt like the place needed upgrades and wasn’t worth the big price. "Breakfast was better than average"

"Suitree is certainly a special experience with 360 views from tree house and thus lived up to expectations completely. The resort has a great natural feel to it but with construction of new tree houses underway during daytime, the noise spoils the peace and tranquility somewhat. The dining experience had a few issues such as slow delivery (breakfast with a tour arranged at 07:30 took over 40 minutes (and we were the only dinners), lack of fruit unless paid for extra plate and yet Costa Rica had fruit everywhere with other hotels fully including plentiful fruit & juices within their breakfasts. Coffee other than standard black is extra and in a 16 day trip this was the only example of paying for coffee. Whilst we had a dietary requirement (no tomato due allergy) and this was advised well in advance and on the day of order, the first day main course came covered in tomato after a long wait. Overall food quality was very good and made a good selection of wines albeit pricey. ATV tour locally was good and Giavanni was very attentive. Not much else to do in resort but lie by the pool though as there was no gym, or Yoga which we had hoped for (but were told it could be provided for $90!). Coco beach isn’t far away but the tree house experience is wonderful for a day or two so why head to a beach with these views? Checkout took an age due lots of confusion with charges on our I’ll which was resolved through a manual process. Overall a wonderful birthday to remember!"

"The restaurant was good for dinner, not a la carte breakfast which was so-so and overpriced. There were things advertised for that were not available like all day coffee and tea; room service; inability to bill your room for food in the restaurant. The gift shops were great. The room could have been better. There was no microwave nor an amoir to hang coats and put away clothes. Rewards amount wasn't given or clear. The concierge was helpful in recommending other tours that her company couldn't provide and the people were super friendly."

"Our junior suite was a great room, with lots of space. Unfortunately it was infested with flying ants on the walls. There was also an animal living in the ceiling, and black fecese continually fell onto our bed. They did not have any of the same room types for us to switch into, so we stuck it out for the night. These rooms are tucked back quite a ways from the reception , but they end up very close to the highway. So we heard continual noise from passing cars. We were also disappointed in the restaurant, both for breakfast and dinner. The warm yogurt with fruit ended up making me sick afterwards. The dinner food was ok, but the service was almost non-existent. Overall, I was quite disappointed in our experience."

"When we arrived the host said he did not have our reservation. The gate was locked. The number on the listing was not an accurate number. It took messaging Expedia to get a new number and the owner did not answer that number. He did respond to Expedia and finally reached out on WhatsApp. They came and cleaned while we were waiting to enter. The pictures on the listing are from probably 10 years ago - the home needs some repairs and maintenance. Faucets are loose, no hot water in the downstairs bathroom, washing machine quit working. They were responsive to come the second day after reaching out to Expedia again about the condition of the home - not matching the listing and the issues we were having - still not impressed with what is portrayed on the listing to the actual home."
