Cannot wait to get back. We were there on business but want to go back as visitors. Restaurants were first class. Every one we interacted with were charming and smart. We lived most of our lives in Carmel and Murphys is competitive to that.

Beautiful little town. Next time we will do lots of wine tasting since there are many, many places for it in Murphy's.

"We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. We didn't plan for tennis, but the hosts are both ex pros; so if tennis is your thing, then Coachwood would be a match made in heaven (ahem....)"
