"Massimo is the perfect host, available, supportive and unobtrusive. The two rooms are large, airy, well appointed and spotless. The breakfast room is likewise and has a small balcony with great views. He bathrooms were great and specific to your room but you had to cross the small public space from the bedroom which not all will find ideal if the two rooms are occupied by strangers. "

"This could, and should, be a good hotel but it was woefully understaffed on our visit. Dinner in the restaurant on the first night was poor - cold lasagne, overcooked spaghetti but the salad was fine. Several tables left and the staff were run off their feet. Breakfast the first two mornings was exactly the same but improved on third day. Bar staff lovely but overstretched helping in restaurant while three people sat at reception on their phones.
