The most quaint and cozy New England Inn, with multiple dining options, two boutiques, heated swimming pool, close to all the Berkshires has to offer, everything is perfect!
Great for a mature adult crowd. Peaceful.
It is a very interesting and unique Old New England Inn.
Step back in time as you enter the lobby and move throughout the entire facility. The decor is consistant in the Edwardian era. From the architecual moldings to the hardware on the doors and windows, and the furnishings it was all authentic.
Lots of interesting art and collections throughout!
Food and beverages are pricey, but the quality is excellent.
Our king room was small. There was very limited space.
We sat out on the front porch and had drinks. It was lovely. I suggest everyone try to allow time to have a beverage and appetizer on the porch.
'They' say it is a haunted inn. I'll leave it at that. You be the judge.
Wonderfully historic property with very friendly and attentive staff. Our king room within the Inn was great and clean. Dining options for dinner and breakfast were amazing!
Its an old historic 250 years old hotel. Well maintained and preserved ...staff are so gracious and hospitable...will be back Red Lion Hotel Inn...a must see for everyone....
I love the outdoor heated pool and hot tub. It would be great if it was open later until midnight on the weekends at least.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was in need of updating and the bathroom reminded me of my grandmother's growing up. Also it took several minutes to get hot water in the sink or shower.
The hotel does have charm and is located in a very scenic little town with lots to do nearby. . Unfortunately the restaurants in the inn were closed on the days we viisited but we were within walking distance of some good little eateries.
This is a hotel for a particular kind of person who’s looking for a historically immersive experience. The hotel is a rich combination of history, decor, and whimsical eclectic Decour that you would expect to find in a combination
Of New England history, and Disney haunted mansion. For us, it was amazing and I can’t wait to go back.
Lovely pet friendly Inn with lots of old charm and friendly ambiance. Lovely dining room with delicious food. (Small sized portions at dinner but large sized portions at breakfast). No hot water in our bathroom and bathroom badly needed to be remodeled. When I complained about the lack of hot water I was told it was because of the location of the room and that if you let the water run for 20 minutes it will get hot.
Great , relaxed vibe. Had a wonderful weekend. Staff were amazing.
Restaurant food just eh. Drinks are pricey but packed a punch.
No room service at the Inn. Really missed having coffee in my room in the morning.
Historic Inn, we were staying super off peak so price reasonable. Super friendly efficient staff, delicious meal in the tavern. Large comfortable room. Lots of antique eclectic furnishings if you’re looking for cookie cutter mod chain accommodations, this isn’t it.

Charming landmark but needs a little TLC. Carpets - furniture - beds, the footstool to bed was not secure (so high up - elderly beware!) replace shower curtain. Has so much potential.
Great property if looking for an experience that mimics a spooky 19th century inn. If yo are looking for modern conveniences, look elsewhere. Room was ok, a little run down but clean. Room was very cold with no way to increase heat. Constant street plowing during the night woke me up every hour. Breakfast was good though.
