This warm and inviting hotel is located in Utoro, but away from the main resort area, allowing for a peaceful stay while taking in the breathtaking coastal scenery. The moment I stepped through the door the owners of this family run place made me feel right at home, and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable, this included driving myself and other guests to and from the resort area, recommending places to eat, and offering advice for other places I would be visiting during the rest of my trip. The owner's dog, who wanders the main areas of the hotel, warmed up to me quickly and only added to the charm of the hotel. The rooms are pristine, comfortable, have full amenities and, despite the extreme cold of Hokkaido winter, were always warm.
If taking the Shari bus, the Utoro Entrance (Utoro Iriguchi) stop is mere minutes away, the airport liner won't stop here though, so if riding that bus, be sure to contact the staff and they'll gladly pick you up from the Utoro Bus Terminal.
I would definitely recommend this place, and intend to stay here again!
