The staff was overall great. They were very helpful and ask if we needed anything and they would be there for us . They all looked like they enjoyed their job with a smile. 😀

Fantastic location in the heart of Pacific Beach. Rooms basic but spacious and clean. Had a partial ocean view facing pool but the noise reduction on the balcony door was effective, no nose issues.

Property was actually right next to the beach with easy secure access. Loungers set facing the beach with a glass partition to keep some privacy and separation from the public walkway. The staff was constantly cleaning the glass and the pool area. It was quieter and more comfortable than expected. Head out the gate and you can quickly join the crowd and head next door for great food and more down the strand way.

The hotel has been nicely refurbished and the staff is super nice and helpful. They also have their own onsite cafe. It is located in an older area that is outdated and in dire need of road repair. There is also a significant homeless presence. The property is private and secured though and conveniently located right on the beachfront.

Down side is you Have to pay 36 dollars for a parking spot but I guess it is Cali. Great location. Clean. Fantastic view. Great service. Everything is walking distance.

Location, location, location. Pool and hot tub and fire pit were great. Right on the boardwalk and beach. In walking distance of everything you need.

It was first time staying at this property, had such a great experience. The hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. Loved how close and convenient the hotel was from restaurants and surrounding areas on the beach. Jay at the front desk was helpful and staff were friendly. Will definitely be back soon!

Beautiful view , if you rent the ocean or partial ocean view …. That is the best part of the hotel ….. cool staff , but very old furniture in the rooms , they charge $36 a night for parking …. You need to ask for house keeping or they will skip your room …. I stayed here for 7 days 6 nights like I said the Ocean view was beautiful .. Stay Classy SD

Was a nice clean stay at Wayfarer and great check in. Close to/or walking distance to many eating/shopping establishments. Would've been nice to have more food choices hotel eatery downstairs though.

Our ocean front room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was great. We would definitely stay there again.

the location right on the beach was great plus the heated pool and hot tubs were my main attractions. Rooms and hotel itself was good but not great. Hotel cafe and parking were extra and expensive, but available. Weather was cloudy and cool each morning but thats San Diego and not the hotel

Older hotel that’s been nicely updated. Loved that it was right on the beach with the boardwalk right in front of the property. Room was comfortable & clean. Pool area was well maintained. Staff was friendly. Plenty of on-site parking for a fee. We really enjoyed our stay. Listening to the ocean was great!

It was not what we expected. We reserved partial view and we had zero view. The frame of the bed injured my husband’s knee really bad and I was bitten by bed bugs.
