"Had a great stay at the Cambria! The staff were very friendly and eager to help. The room was comfortable with AC and had a nice bed. Only thing that caught me off guard was the shower, I had to fill up a big bucket in the bathroom and scoop water out with a cup to wash yourself. No big deal for me but I didn’t know that before getting to the hotel. Overall a great stay and would come back!"

"3 night booking. I arrived at about 9pm on the first night after a long and tiring journey, but my room was not ready. I had to wait about 30 minutes whilst staff went to get towels and soap, as well as a floor-standing fan - there was a fan already in the room but it was broken with the guard cover on the floor. I asked about a room safe, and after a short wait 2 staff members came back in to the room carrying a large, shoddy looking wooden stand and a room safe. The safe was in a terrible...

"Résidence tres bien, la maison a tout le confort, le personnel est gentil et au petit soin, la piscine est chaude et au calme, ca a été un grand plaisir de me baigner le soir en rentrant du restaurant et comme la Résidence est petite il y a rarement du monde pour ce baigner. "La Perle Rare is a beautiful hotel. The bedroom was beautiful and immaculate. The bathroom felt luxurious. The Belgian owner was super helpful in helping me to arrange daytrips and transport to/from the airport. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and welcoming. It's only a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel to the beach and the main road of restaurants. But be warned - tourists don't tend to swim at this beach because the water is dirty. My negative comments don't relate to La Perle...
