When we checked in and went to our room, our shades wouldn’t work (they are automatic) and our bathtub was filled with water and we couldn’t get the drip to stop. We called the front desk and they were very kind and moved us to a new room. We then left for our event and returned that evening and realized the shades once again don’t work and were now stuck in the up position and we couldn’t close them. We were awoken early with the sun and went down for breakfast. Most things weren’t stocked and there were no drinks available as the drink machine was out of order. This hotel did the job of giving us a place to sleep but definitely wasn’t the experience we had hoped for when paying so much.

Overall a comfortable stay. But, definitely did not deserve a 9 rating. Ice machines broken on floor 2 and 3. Minimal breakfast selections. No bottle water available unless requested. Excellent staff.

Overall, very clean and quiet. Front desk staff was excellent at check-in. Only issue was that breakfast team couldn't keep food stocked to handle rush.

I give this hotel 5 stars. It was clean, comfortable, the bed was clean and comfortable, the area around hotel felt safe, the hot breakfast downstairs was good, front desk personnel was friendly. I was very pleased. The one thing that might could use improvement , would be just the parking, just brighter lighting, but other than that, hotel stay was enjoyable.

I liked the good condition of this hotel (no run-down features, everything worked well) Minor problems: breakfast was less than essential, no fruits and the mini omelets were overcooked and salty. Room: Everything was good and clean except the bedsheet, which had some stains that looked like grease that had not been removed in the wash. The stains were atop the bedsheet, right where the sheet came to cover my neck, so I did not like that and at 11 pm I had to go to the reception to get a fresh bedsheet. It looks like the maid who had prepared the bed had not noticed that the top bedsheet came from the laundry with these stains.

I like that it was convenient to shops and restaurants, but hotel was dirty and the room was not restocked with tissues when I arrived. Service was friendly and attentive though

The property itself was nice, however, the front desk clerk who checked me in, once he saw that I had booked with a 3rd party, became cold (for reference, the woman who checked in before me was asked if she was a Hilton rewards member because her reservation was made by her employer, was told about breakfast, internet, where her room was located, etc) and quietly mentioned about breakfast and no more. I had booked an accessible room due to my daughter being in a wheelchair and when we got to the room, discovered that it was not an accessible room. After 12 hours in the car and multiple pieces of luggage being unloaded into the room, I was too tired and angry to go back down to the desk and deal with the front desk clerk. As the “face” of the hotel, I expect that the front desk staff will be friendly to all patrons, regardless of how they made their reservation.

Great hotel, Staff was always away from desk, probably working elsewhere. Heater and AC were on auto kept switching from one to the other all night. Controls were not user friendly. Didn’t contact the office so I can’t complain too much.

We have stayed here twice. We chose it both times because of the combination location (western side of Richmond area), cost and trust in the brand. Both stays have been fine. Facilities are in good shape and staff was friendly.

Our outlets didn't work and our phones didn't get charged. The TV wouldn't work and we were told we had to pull out the fridge and plug it up which was a pain to get to. There were men on the grounds sawing at 8am. When we told the desk about our issues they basically told us that because we booked through hotel.com that there was nothing that they could or would do.
