Hotel is well located near a major highway, property was in good condition and clean overall; Great shower! Breakfast was good (average Continental breakfast, which also included apples and oranges, a PLUS!); Parking lot is conveniently located right next to the building; The only negative: I found a couple midsize coach roaches inside of my room; That was the only negative; The room needs to have a coach roach treatment by a pest control company I would consider re-visiting it if I ever need to go to Richmond.

This is an older property located off route 522 just before Berkeley Springs. Very clean and well taken care of. Quiet and comfortable. Front desk lady was very friendly and professional. Good place to eat right across the parking lot. Would stay again.

I was disappointed that breakfast started at 7 on a Sunday but when I called the property I was told it started at 6. No food for us because we had to leave a little after 6.

The bed was old and not at all comfortable. Towels were good. Someone on our floor was smoking weed and it smelled the whole hallway. We did inform the person on duty.

The hotel was about 10 minutes away for an event at VCU, and very reasonably priced. There was the convenience of having a gas station with mini-mart within walking distance across the parking lot as well as a Burger King, and also a McDonald's across the street. A very snort drive up the road was a Waffle House. There's was lots of parking and our room on the back side of the hotel was clean, spacious, and very quiet. We were so please that we are booking a 2-night stay for another even in a month at VCU.

Very quiet abnd the beds are comfortable. The only suggestion I have would to hsve mixed fruit for the waffles at breakfast. Not everyone likes syrup. Most of tghe nice hotels have this.

I requested an accessible room weeks ahead. When I arrived, I was advised that there was no reservation in my name. I showed the information on my phone. Then I was advised that my room had been given to someone with a similar name and was offered a different room. My most significant accessibility need is for a "comfort height" toilet which the room didn't have. After I visited the room, I returned to the front desk and requested to borrow one of the breakfast area chairs overnight to use as a rail to insure my safety getting on & off the toilet. The request was refused, despite my assurance that the chair would be returned clean and undamaged. This property needs to do better.
