The breakfasts were good, the bedrooms spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms were well designed and nice to use. "Beautiful property staffed by helpful and friendly people! Our updated room was comfortable and quiet and had a lovely view from the balcony. Next door to a bakery for a light breakfast if you decide against the full breakfast. Very walkable to the train station and Calvi’s main attractions. The woman at the front desk was very helpful to us in arranging a taxi. Highly recommend!"

We were very early in the season so many preparations and improvements were taking place, so we feel it would have been even better a little later into the month. We particularly enjoyed our meals in the restaurant. The beautiful beach was very quiet and the walk along the railway path, and on into the town and harbour was a joy. "

"1970s hostel type rooms with a nice pool, view, more modern lobby/bar area. Don’t recommend for families with babies. Rooms: horrible. So uncomfortable. Bedding is two hospital sheets. Beyond outdated. Rotting wood Frames on windows and balcony doors. Mold in shower and the bathroom smelled like pee. Dirty curtains, stained sheets. This is a one star. Night and afternoon they have trivia games or play loud music so if you need peace forget it because you have to close everything up to muffle it...
